LeaseLedger Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-10 · LeaseLedger, Australia · Contact: adrian@leaseledger.com.au

1. About the service

LeaseLedger is lease accounting software that calculates lease schedules, journals, reports, and disclosures under AASB 16, IFRS 16, and ASC 842. By creating an account or using LeaseLedger, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account details, keep your credentials secure, and invite only people who are authorised to access your workspace. Do not use LeaseLedger unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with another workspace, upload malicious content, or resell the service without our agreement. Tell us promptly if you suspect an account or security problem. Multi-factor authentication is available in your account settings.

3. Plans and limits

Your current plan and usage limits are shown in the app. The free plan does not require a credit card. Paid plan pricing and inclusions are agreed with you before an upgrade takes effect. If we materially change the price or inclusions of a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice before the change applies and you may cancel instead.

4. Your data

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to upload and use workspace information, including any personal or confidential information. See the Privacy Notice for more detail.

5. AI-assisted features

AI-assisted features are optional. Content you choose to submit may be processed by third-party AI providers, including outside Australia. AI output is a draft: review every generated field and remove unnecessary personal or sensitive information before submitting content to an AI feature.

6. Accounting responsibility

LeaseLedger performs calculations from the inputs, elections, and accounting policies you provide. It is not accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice. You and your advisers remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding how they are used in financial reporting.

7. Availability, support, and ending use

We take reasonable care to keep LeaseLedger available, secure, and accurate, but interruptions can occur. You may stop using the service and request workspace deletion. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment, or prevent harm; where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to resolve it. If we discontinue the service, we will take reasonable steps to give advance notice and an opportunity to export workspace data.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and request renewed acceptance where appropriate. For questions or support, use the in-app support form or email adrian@leaseledger.com.au.
